I have long promoted hurdle and steeplechase racing as the safest investment known to mankind and there were certainly no amendments to the fact after racing at Bendigo this afternoon.
Don Murray Racing had only its 9th investment for the 2012 racing year and 5th winner with GOTTA TAKE CARE in the feature hurdle race. By 6 lengths, too.
The $5.20 a win was nice and was our 4th win from 7 jumping investments since the current season began last August, in which month our 2 jumps winners returned $13.90 and $7.00.
And this epileptic method shall continue, with times of cold turkey in months like October 2012 and February 2014 etc when the key planets are very idle and we may not even have an investment !
The epileptic system just selects days when trainers or jockeys are under aspects bringing pleasant surprises, and is not suited to those who like punting favourites.
For it’s over 20 months since we’ve had a win dividend that’s paid less than $4.00.
Now poor old NZ thoroughbred racing is well and truly ‘ donalded ’ so all we have to do is concentrate more on Australian racing. Especially those awesome jumps races !
I have been adding Australian personnel into the system, including Irish jumps riders like John Allen who won today, along with the Kiwis who are heading over the Tasman to escape the cancerous plague of NZ racing.
We’ll be having lots more Australian plunges, with hopefully a jumps race on May 15, 2013 so we can benefit from another “ pleasant surprise ” day for jumps jockey J Allen.
Our last 13 Australian jumps races have produced 7 wins and two placings.
There’s also a “ pleasant surprise ” day plotted for the trainer of GOTTA TAKE CARE, Darren Weir, on the first Tuesday in November of 2013. D Weir has lots of positive Pluto action over the next 2 years.
